Red Hot Chili Peppers Bringing 'The Getaway' Tour To Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Red Hot Chili Peppers are planning on bringing the heat to Minneapolis -- in the middle of winter.

On Monday, the band announced the first three legs of its 2017 North American tour, supporting its 11th studio album, "The Getaway."

The tour begins in early January and will make a stop in Minneapolis on Saturday, Jan. 21.

Reserved seat tickets will go on sale Friday, Sept. 23 at noon. The tickets will be available at the Target Center's Box Office, online at AXS.com or by phone at 888-9-AXS-TIX. A four-ticket limit will be strictly enforced.

Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue and Jack Irons are also touring with RHCP in support.
