Applying For A Real ID? It Will Cost You

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minnesotans can apply for Real IDs starting next month, but you will have to pay if you want one early.
Real IDs will cost $25, which is the same price as a standard license or ID.
The enhanced identification cards will not be needed for two more years, but if you want one before your current card expires, there is an additional fee between $2 and $6.
