Qorsho Hassan Named 2020 Minnesota Teacher Of The Year

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minnesota has a new top teacher.

Education Minnesota says Qorsho Hassan was named 2020 Teacher of the Year Thursday night. She is a fourth-grade teacher at Echo Park Elementary in the Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan school district.

There were 134 candidates and 10 finalists for this year's award.
