Minnesota Man Works To Raise Awareness Of Prostate Cancer

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.

This year alone, more than 26,000 men will die from the disease. But a Minnesota man wants to change that number.

Rob Barniskis has been living with the disease since 2008. He's raising awareness by sharing his journey through "My Prostate Cancer Roadmap."

The "My Prostate Cancer Roadmap" project is meant to be a resource and support system for those struggling with the disease.

For more information on Barniskis' journey, or prostate cancer, visit "My Prostate Cancer Roadmap" online.
