Amid Estate Hearing, More Claim Relation To Prince

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Since his death, a number of people have filed claims in Carver County court on Prince's multi-million dollar estate.

The Minnesota music icon died on April 21 from an accidental painkiller overdose.

On Tuesday, men and women from at least seven different states said they were related to Prince.

Last week, a judge authorized the company handling Prince's estate to hire outside help to handle royalties and entertainment opportunities.

Prince's estate is estimated to be worth up to $300-million.
