Judge Approves Prince Estate Managers To Hire Outside Help

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Entertainment industry experts will step in to help manage Prince's music.

A Carver County judge authorized Bremer Trust, the company handling Prince's estate, to hire outside help to handle royalties and entertainment opportunities.

The judge said Tuesday that Bremer Trust should "take all prudent steps" to generate money from Prince's intellectual property.

The musical icon died April 21 from an accidental overdose of the narcotic painkiller fentanyl. So far, no will has been revealed.
