Prince Announces 'Rally 4 Peace' Concert In Baltimore
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minnesota music icon, Prince, has announced he'll play a major concert in Baltimore, Maryland.
The event, he calls "Rally 4 Peace", comes as racial tensions in that city continue to boil over after the death of Freddie Gray in police custody.
Royal Farms Arena, the venue of the event, tweeted about it Tuesday:

In a statement, Prince says he hopes the show will be a "catalyst for pause and reflection following the outpouring of violence that has gripped Baltimore and areas throughout the U.S."
Prince also revealed that he's written a new song called "Baltimore".
The concert will be held Sunday. Tickets go on sale today at 5 p.m.
