MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Ready for some playoff baseball? After four straight years with at least 90 losses, the Minnesota Twins are playing meaningful baseball in mid-September.

The Twins are on the doorstop of a spot in the American League playoffs. After Wednesday's 7-4 loss to Detroit, the Twins are 1.5 games behind the Houston Astros for the second Wild Card spot, the final playoff spot.

There are 17 games left in the regular season. The Twins announced Wednesday that tickets for a potential Wild Card game and division series will go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30. Tickets will be made available only through the Twins website.

All tickets purchased online can be delivered digitally and printed or accessed through the MLB's Ballpark app. Twins season ticket holders have the first priority to buy playoff tickets and they can do so until Sunday, Sept. 20.
