Police: Woman Inappropriately Grabbed, Briefly Chased Near Lake Harriet

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis police say a woman was sexually assaulted while running near Lake Harriet last week.

On Tuesday at 5:30 a.m., the victim reported to police that a man run up behind her as she was running on West Lake Harriet Parkway near Sheridan Avenue South. She says he grabbed her buttocks and when she ran off, the suspect chased her for a brief moment.

The man ran off in a different direction when the victim began to scream.

The man is described as a white male, 5-foot-9, blonde-gray or white hair and clean shaven. He had an athletic build.
