Police: Woman Found Dead, Man Found Shot In Downtown St. Paul Apt.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A woman is dead and a man is injured after a shooting early Saturday morning at a downtown St. Paul apartment building, according to police.
Authorities were alerted just after 3:30 a.m. of shots fired at a building on the 200 block of 5th Street East.
Officers arrived and found a deceased woman and a man who had been shot several times on the building's third floor. The man was taken to Regions Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. It is not clear how the woman died.
Police say a 29-year-old male suspect was found in the building and taken into custody without incident. Police are working to determine the relationship between the suspect and the victims.
