Police: Verizon Burglars Cut Hole In Wall, Climbed Through Ceiling Tiles

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Carver County Sheriff's Office is investigating the burglary of a Waconia Verizon Wireless store early Monday morning, where thieves entered through ceiling tiles and cut a hole through a wall.

Authorities responded to reports of a burglary at the store, located at 716 Vista Blvd., as well as Bella Nails and Spa next door.

Investigators believe the burglars first gained entry to the building by prying open the back door of Bella. They then went through ceiling tiles over a common wall to enter Verizon, and also cut a hole through drywall to get into the storeroom.

The thieves stole several electronic devices and cash.

Video surveillance was recovered, and the sheriff's office continues to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to call 952-361-1212.
