Police: Missing Teen With Autism Found

Update: Austin Sager was found Wednesday and is returning to family, officials say.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Officials in Woodbury are asking for the public's help in locating a missing teen with autism.

According to Woodbury Public Safety, 18-year-old Austin Sager has been missing since Tuesday afternoon. He was last seen at 4 p.m. near Woodbury or Cottage Grove.

Officials are unsure which direction Sager went, so they are using drone technology to search for him.

Sager is described as being 5'9" and 175 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. He normally wears glasses.

Authorities are concerned for his welfare as it is not normal for Sager to take long walks. He also has a high-functioning form of autism and is very trusting of strangers.

Anyone with any information about Sager's whereabouts are asked to call 911.
