Police: Suspect Sought In North Minneapolis Shooting

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police are looking for a suspect after a man was shot in north Minneapolis late Saturday night.

Authorities were called to the 2900 block of North 6th Street near Farview Park after a man called police saying he had been shot. When officers arrived, they found the man with a gunshot wound to his lower back.

The victim was taken to North Memorial Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Police said the victim was not cooperative with giving them information and told officers he did not know who shot him.

Authorities are still working on finding witnesses in the incident, and no suspects are in custody. Anyone with information is asked to call Minneapolis Police as the incident remains under investigation.
