Police: Suspect Robs 2 Men At Knifepoint In St. Cloud

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police in St. Cloud are looking for a suspect after two men were robbed at knifepoint early Sunday morning.

Authorities responded at about 1:07 a.m. to the 900 block of 8th Avenue South on a report of a robbery. When officers arrived, they learned a 19 and 20-year-old man were walking south on the sidewalk in the area when they were approached by a lone male suspect.

The suspect displayed a knife and ordered them to empty their pockets. Both victims turned over personal property, and the suspect fled the area. Neither of the victims was hurt in the incident.

Police used a canine in an attempted to track the suspect, but could not be located. Authorities said the suspect is described as a black male about 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall with medium long hair and wearing a light colored T-shirt and pants.
