Police: St. Cloud Man Admits To Vandalizing Cars While Intoxicated

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police in St. Cloud say a 21-year-old man was arrested Thursday morning after admitting to smashing cars with a large tool, which on surveillance video looked to be a sledgehammer.

Noah James Farrell, of St. Cloud, told police he was intoxicated early Sunday morning when he vandalized several cars on the city's south side.

Police said 10 cars had their windows and bodies smashed along Quarry Road.

Surveillance video from an apartment complex was obtained by authorities a few days after the incident, and it showed two suspects, one of which police recognized as Farrell.

Police say they went to his home, arrested him and and booked him in the Stearns County Jail on charges of criminal damage to property.

Police are still looking for the second suspect, pictured below.

Anyone with information on the second suspect is asked to call St. Cloud police at 320-251-1200.
