Police: Several Packages Stolen From Eden Prairie Homes

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities in the west Twin Cities metro said Monday they're investigating the thefts of several packages from area homes in recent weeks.

The Eden Prairie Police Department said it has received several reports of packages being stolen from the front doorsteps of homes over the last three weeks. Police said a majority of the incidents have taken place in the residential area east of the Eden Prairie Center between Prairie Lakes Drive and Rolling Hills Road.

The packages have been delivered by the U.S. Postal Service, UPS or FedEx, and are being taken on weekday afternoons before homeowners are arriving from work. Police are asking residents in the area and throughout the city to be alert and report any suspicious activity immediately.
