Police Seek Suspects In Woodbury Victoria's Secret Theft

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities are looking for suspects after tear gas was used in a theft at a Woodbury Victoria's Secret store last week.

The Woodbury Police Department responded to the store at 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day on a report of a theft. The caller said two subjects were involved in the incident.

When officers arrived, customers were evacuated as they learned the subjects ran out of the store with merchandise and sprayed something into the building as they left.  An investigation showed the substance sprayed was tear gas.

According to a police report, the suspects are identified as two females.

Store officials said it appears about $9,000 in merchandise was lost in the theft. Police say there are no suspects in custody, and anyone with information should call the Woodbury Police Department.
