Police Seek Suspects In Robbery Near U Of M

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis Police say they are looking for two suspects after two people were robbed at gunpoint early Wednesday morning near the University of Minnesota campus.

The incident happened at about 12:25 a.m. near 27th Avenue SE and Talmage Avenue SE, which is near the Como Student Community Cooperative. Authorities said one of the victims is a University of Minnesota student and the other is not affiliated with the school.

Neither victim was hurt in the incident. Police say the two suspects fled to a vehicle waiting on Talmage Avenue with a driver waiting for them. Police do not have a description of the suspects at this time.

The incident is under investigation, and anyone with information should contact Minneapolis Police at (612) 692-8477.
