Police Seek Suspect In St. Cloud Shooting

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities are looking for a suspect after a 36-year-old Minneapolis man was shot early Sunday morning in St. Cloud.

Police responded to a report of gunshots at about 4:23 a.m. on the 200 block of 24th Avenue North. When officers arrived, they learned that several shots had been fired and several people were outside a residence where the gunfire was heard. Officers found a man who had been shot in the buttocks.

He was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police said the incident was not random and there is no public safety risk.
