Update: Missing Chanhassen Man, 87, Found Safe

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- An 87-year-old Chanhassen man that went missing Thursday afternoon has been found safe.

Verne Fedje Christensen was last seen Thursday afternoon when he left home to go workout at a gym -- but never arrived.

The Carver County Sheriff's office and the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said Christensen was found two days later.

Authorities say he was reportedly spotted driving his car in St. Louis Park and Mahtomedi.

Police have not released any information on where Christensen was found or his condition.
