Police: Rochester Woman Drove Drunk With Child, 6, In Car

ROCHESTER, Minn. (WCCO) – A Rochester woman was arrested Friday after allegedly driving drunk with a child in the car.

Rochester police received a call about a possible drunk driver at about 9:30 p.m. Friday. Officers wound up spotting 32-year-old Crystal Vale in the McDonald's drive-thru on the 4700 block of Commercial Drive SW.

They say a breathalyzer test showed a blood alcohol content of 0.17, more than twice the legal limit for driving in Minnesota, and she had a 6-year-old child in the car with her at the time.

Vale faces a charge of second-degree DWI, a gross misdemeanor.
