Sheriff: Father And Son Found Dead In Pierce County, Wisconsin

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities are investigating after finding two people dead in a western Wisconsin home Friday morning.

According to Pierce County Sheriff Nancy Hove, the initial call came in at about 11:25 a.m. from 32-year-old Amory Tarr from rural River Falls, stating his 60-year-old father Craig Tarr had been shot.

Upon arrival at the home off of 840th Avenue in Clifton Township, officers found both individuals dead.

Officials say there is no threat to the community at large. The Pierce County Sheriff's Office is investigating the situation.
