Police Reality Show 'The First 48' Returns To Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The hit A & E reality TV show "The First 48" returns to Minneapolis this week to follow around some of the city's homicide investigators.

Minneapolis Police say they are excited to welcome back the show, which has featured the city's investigators before in several episodes. It has been a few years since their last appearance.

Officials say MPD's Homicide Unit and the attorney's offices of Minneapolis and Hennepin County have all collaborated with the show's producers to ensure crews will be able to work "inside the police tape," while not hindering the work of investigators.
