Police: Northstar Train Vandalized In Big Lake

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities north and west of the Twin Cities are looking for at least one suspect after a Metro Transit Northstar train was vandalized on Monday.

Big Lake Police said the incident happened at about 2 a.m. while the train was parked at its service facility in Big Lake near intersection of Highway 10 and County Road 43. Authorities said the train was sprayed with graffiti, and the suspects were spotted on surveillance footage.

Authorities said they've received information about a suspicious pick-up truck with a Texas registration near Remmle.

No suspects are in custody, and Big Lake Police are asking for the public's help to find the people responsible. Anyone with information should call the Big Lake Police Department at (763) 263-2500.
