Police: North Minneapolis Teen Dead From Gunshot Wound

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis Police are continuing to investigate the shooting death of a teenage boy.

According to police, at 11:06 p.m. Sunday officers were called to the 4100 block of Fremont Avenue North. When they arrived, crews discovered 15-year-old Brandon Dominique Wren with a gunshot wound to the neck.

Wren was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he later died.

Police found the gun at the scene.

The cause of death has been ruled a homicide. Investigators are continuing to look into the shooting.
