Police: Montevideo Man Uses Twin Brother's ID For Loan

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Montevideo man is accused of using his twin brother's ID in an attempt to get a bank loan, according to police.

Police say Robert Macziewski, 69 of Montevideo, has been charged with felony identity theft in connection with the case. Authorities said back in June, Macziewski used his twin brother's ID to obtain a small loan at a Montevideo bank.

He told employees there he had permission to do so.

The case remains under investigation.
