Police: Man Shot In Head In N. Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 42-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot in the head Friday night in Minneapolis.

Police say their ShotSpotter system was activated at about 10 a.m. on the 2600 block of Penn Avenue North.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.

He was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.

It's unknown if any arrests have been made, or if police have any suspects.
