Police: Man Shot Dead Outside Of N. Mpls. Market
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- One person is dead after a shooting in Minneapolis Friday night.
Police say an altercation began inside the North Side Food Market on the 3500 block of Lyndale Avenue North at about 9:30 p.m.
It then moved onto the sidewalk where one person was shot. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.
"This is not believed to be a random incident," police spokesman John Elder said. "The individuals appear to have known each other. Again, we don't have any reason to believe that these people are upset with anybody other than each other."
Police are still searching for the suspect.
