Police: Man, 26, Arrested After Pointing Handgun At Man Towing His Car

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A St. Cloud man was arrested Monday morning after he allegedly pointed a handgun at a man attempting to tow his vehicle.

Sharmake Mohamed Aden, 26, is facing charges of second degree assault and terroristic threats.

According to the St. Cloud police department, early Monday morning officers responded to a report of a gun complaint in the 1900 block of Quarry Road.

Upon arrival, police learned Aden had threatened a 27-year-old man by pointing a handgun at him when he attempted to tow Aden's car.

Aden was arrested near the scene of the incident. He was taken to Stearns County Jail where he is currently awaiting charges.

The handgun was recovered from the scene. No one was injured.
