Police: Man, 23, Stabs Mother In Apple Valley

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A woman is hospitalized in Apple Valley after an apparent stabbing by her son.

Around 5 p.m. Tuesday, police received a 911 call from the 23-year-old man that he had assaulted his mother.

When police arrived to the residence on 134th Street West, they took the man into custody and rushed the mother to the hospital.

The Apple Valley Police Department is investigating the incident.
