Police Looking For Robbery Suspect In New Richmond (Wis.)

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities in western Wisconsin are looking for a male suspect after a store was robbed at gunpoint on Wednesday in New Richmond, Wis.

New Richmond Police responded to the Cash Store on the 1600 block of Dorset Lane at about 5:55 p.m. Wednesday on a report of an armed robbery. When authorities arrived, a female employee told officers a white male wearing a dark colored ski mask entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The employee complied with the suspect's demands and tied up the worker before fleeing the scene.

Police said the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money. He is described as a white male about 6 feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing all black clothing and an orange colored, waist length traffic safety vest and dark-colored ski mask at the time of the robbery. He was also wearing black shoes with a white outline.
