Police Looking For Man In Mankato Drug Case

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police in Mankato are looking for a man who is facing murder charges in a deadly synthetic drug case after he failed to show up for a court appearance on Friday.

Tyler Caputo, 22, is one of four people who had been charged in the case involving the deaths of two people that are connected to synthetic drugs. Mankato Police have issued a warrant for Caputo's arrest as he's believed to have supplied two people with a synthetic drug.

A 22-year-old man and 17-year-old girl died back in March of 2013 after taking the same drug, called 2-C and is believed to be a form of LSD. The girl was identified as Chloe Moses.

Investigators in the case said they believe Caputo may have fled to Chicago or Ohio. Anyone with information about Caputo should call Mankato Police.
