Police Investigating Death In Northeast Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police are investigating a woman's death early Wednesday morning in northeast Minneapolis.

The Minneapolis Police Department says a woman's body was found in the middle of the street near Marshall and 31st avenues around 1:30 a.m.

Officers on routine patrol found the body. They got out to check on the women and render aid, but found her deceased.

The woman's identity and cause of death will be released later by the medical examiner.
