Police Investigating Homicide In Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Minneapolis police are investigating an apparent homicide Sunday on the city's north side.

The Minneapolis Police Department responded at about 4:30 p.m. to the 3700 block of Aldrich Ave. N. on a report of a man heavily bleeding in an alley. When officers arrived, they found an adult male victim with a significant injury to his head in a garage. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

Authorities say a second male located in the alley near the garage was taken to North Memorial Hospital for a non-life threatening leg injury. The man is being questioned in connection with the death.

Police haven't released any information about a possible suspect. The incident is under investigation, and anyone with information should call Minneapolis police at (612) 692-8477.
