Police: 1 Dead, Suspect In Custody After South Minneapolis Shooting
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police say a man is dead and another man is in custody after a shooting in south Minneapolis Monday afternoon.
Officers were called to a reported shooting on the 900 block of East 24th Street around 3:15 p.m.
They found a man in his 20s dead outside. The suspect had already left the scene.
Police said the suspect later called to turn himself in. He was arrested and police recovered a handgun.
Investigation apparently shows the two were fighting inside the shopping mall on that block. The fight spilled outside, and one man shot the other.
