Police ID Body Of Woman Found By Bridge In St. Cloud

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The body of a woman found at the Mississippi River in St. Cloud Sunday has been identified.

Police said the female found on the ice just south of Granite City Crossing Bridge was 21-year-old Hannah Pauline Udvig.

Udvig was found Sunday afternoon after police responded to a call of a person possibly on the ice.

According to the St. Cloud Police Sgt. Jeffrey Janssen, police had received a  call of a missing person earlier in the day. They believe it was Udvig.

A preliminary autopsy showed her injuries were consistent with a fall on the ice.

Investigators are asking to speak to anyone that was near the area around 1 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 31. Anyone with any information should call 320-251-4240.
