Police ID 2 Victims Killed In South Minneapolis Shooting

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police have identified the man and woman who were found dead following a Friday night shooting in south Minneapolis.

Dahir Ahmed Abdirahman, 29, of Minneapolis and Tahany Abdi Omar Erbob, 24, of Columbia Heights, died of apparent gunshot wounds Friday night.

The Minneapolis Police Department says the shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. on the 3000 block of 29th Avenue South near the Longfellow neighborhood.

When officers got to the scene, they found the two victims in a car with apparent gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead on the scene.
