Police: Floodwood Man Dies When SUV Falls On Him

FLOODWOOD, Minn. (AP) -- Police say a Floodwood man has died after an SUV he was working on fell off its jacks and onto him.

The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday that 55-year-old Gary Lee Keil was changing a muffler in his garage when the accident happened Monday. Authorities say the SUV slipped and the rear axle crushed Keil.

They say his son and officers were able to get the car off of him and start CPR. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
