Police: Falcon Heights Man Found Dead, Woman In Custody

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities say a woman is in custody after a man was found dead inside a Falcon Heights home early Sunday morning.

The St. Anthony Police Department was called to the home on the 1500 block of Idaho Avenue in Falcon Heights at about 1:12 a.m. When officers arrived, they found a 47-year-old man dead inside the residence. A 38-year-old woman who authorities say is an acquaintance of the victim was taken into custody and booked into the Ramsey County Jail for probable cause murder.

The man's body was taken to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner to determine a cause of death. Authorities say they aren't looking for any other suspects in the case and there is no threat to the public.

Their names have not been released.
