Police: Careless Driver Crash Leaves 1 Dead In Inver Grove Heights

INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, Minn. (WCCO) -- A woman has died after a crash police say was caused by a careless driver.

It happened this afternoon in Inver Grove Heights at the corner of Dawn Avenue and 70th Street. Police found 21-year-old Nicholas Indehar with minor injuries.

In a separate car was a 42-year-old Roseville woman, trapped inside her minivan with live electrical wires draped over it. Her car had hit a utility pole. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police are not saying how the crash happened, but Indehar is facing criminal vehicular homicide, driving while impaired, careless and reckless driving, stop sign violation and driving with a revoked driver's license.
