Police: Boy Found Unresponsive In Water Near Breezy Point Resort

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A missing 3-year-old boy was found unresponsive in Pelican Lake in Breezy Point, Minn. Friday evening, according to the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office.

Law enforcement responded to a report of a missing child near Breezy Point Resort just after 7:30 p.m. Within minutes, the boy was found in the water by relatives.

CPR was performed on the boy at the scene before he was transported by helicopter to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.

He is listed in critical condition. Foul play is not suspected.

Breezy Point Police and the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office are investigating.
