Police: Body Found Near Carey Lake In Hibbing

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police are investigating after a man's body was found Thursday in a wooded area on the north side of Carey Lake in Hibbing.

Officers responded to a report just before 2 p.m. of a deceased man located by people walking their dog near the lake. Authorities then confirmed the man was dead and secured the area.

Police say they have completed the scene investigation. A medical examiners office conducted an autopsy and determined there was no foul play, police say.
