Police: Body Found At Hidden Beach In Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Minneapolis Police are investigating after a body was found at a beach early Monday night.

Officials with the Minneapolis Park Board said authorities were called to Hidden Beach on East Cedar Lake at about 4:41 p.m. after a resident walking their dog near Hidden Beach on Cedar Lake discovered the body. Minneapolis Park Police responded to the scene along with the Hennepin County Medical Examiner and members of the Minneapolis Homicide Unit.

The body has been described as that of an adult, but has not been identified. Authorities said no foul play is suspected in the person's death.

The body has not been identified, and the Hennepin County Medical Examiner will determine the person's cause of death.
