Police: 3 Hurt, 1 Arrested In Mankato Stabbing

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities said one man was arrested after three people were hurt in a stabbing at a Mankato bar Saturday night.

Police were called to the 700 block of North Riverfront Drive at about 9:50 p.m. on a report of an assault. When officers arrived, the suspect had fled the scene but was found after a ground search and taken into custody.

Authorities said three men suffered stab wounds in the incident. One man was treated at the scene and the two others were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police identified the suspect as 26-year-old Dosman Kizito Charles of Mankato. He's in the Blue Earth County Jail on suspicion of first, second and third-degree assault.
