Police: 2nd Suspect In Double Homicide Arrested

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police in Minneapolis say the second suspect in last week's double homicide on the city's north side is now in custody.

Leland Ethridge, 30, surrendered on Sunday after police say they worked with his family to facilitate an arrest.

Ethridge is a suspect in the April 8 killings of 56-year-old Eddie James Pelmore and 47-year-old Odell Frazier.

Both men were shot in the head near the 4500 block of Penn Avenue North. Their bodies were found inside an SUV.

The other suspect, 21-year-old Brian Deshawn Morse, of Chicago, faces two counts of second-degree murder in connection to the case. He made his first court appearance on Friday.

Morse was arrested shortly after the shooting following a police chase.
