PLYMOUTH, Minn. (WCCO) – Two men were arrested Monday after about 200 pounds of marijuana was seized in Plymouth, according to police.

The Plymouth Police Department was notified by authorities in South Dakota of a large shipment of marijuana coming to the area. Officers, in conjunction with the Northwest Drug Task Force, set up a controlled delivery on Monday and seized the drugs. Authorities allowed the drugs to be delivered under surveillance, then arrested two men as they drove off in a pick-up truck filled with marijuana.

Authorities said the marijuana had an estimated street value of $750,000. Police arrested 27-year-old William Ian Anderson and 23-year-old Ian Loren Anderson, both of Independence, in connection with the cast. Both are currently in custody at the Hennepin County Jail.
