Police: 2 Men Rob 3 Mpls. Pharmacies In 35 Minutes

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis police are looking for two men who robbed three pharmacies in about 35 minutes Wednesday evening.

Police say the first robbery was at 5:44 p.m. at the Walgreens on the 2400 block of Hennepin Avenue South. The second was at 6:13 p.m. at the Cub Foods' pharmacy on the 1100 block of Lagoon Avenue, which is less than a mile south of the first crime scene. And the third was five minutes later at the Walgreens on the 200 block of West Lake Street, about a mile east of the previous one.

MPD says they have contacted all pharmacies in Minneapolis and all law enforcement agencies in the metro about this crime spree.

Anyone with information is urged to call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477. They are offering a monetary reward for the capture and conviction of the robbers.
