Police: $1,000 Reward Offered In Chaska Church Burglary, Theft

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities in Chaska say a $1,000 reward is being offered to find the responsible party after a safe containing church documents was recently stolen.

Chaska Police said the incident happened at the Chaska Moravian Church at 115 Fourth St. on July 14. Authorities said a safe was stolen and had several church documents dating back 100 years.

Police said an anonymous donor has offered a $1,000 reward for information leading to the return of the documents in sound condition. Authorities said the incident is under investigation, and anyone with information should call Chaska Police at (952) 448-4200.
