Police: 1 Dead In St. Paul Shooting

ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- The St. Paul Police Department is investigating a homicide late Saturday night.

Authorities say the incident happened at about 11 p.m. as officers responded to a report of shots fired near University Avenue and Prior. They found an injured man who died at the scene, in the area of the Green Line.

Police are talking to witnesses, but no arrests have been made. Police do not think this was a random shooting. The victim has not been identified.
