Police: 1 Dead In South Minneapolis Stabbing

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police say one man is dead after a stabbing in south Minneapolis late Wednesday night, and a suspect is still at large.

Minneapolis Police were called to the 2400 block of Ogema Place at about 9:41 p.m. on a report of a stabbing. When officers arrived, they learned a man was walking in the area when he was confronted by another man. The two got into an argument that turned physical.

Police said the suspect pulled a knife and stabbed the victim -- identified as 25-year-old Cody L. Rasche --  before fleeing the scene. Rasche was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center by ambulance, where he died while in surgery.

Police said there is nobody in custody in connection with the incident.
